Shloka Scroll lets you read the Bhagavad Gita one verse at a time. The Sanskrit text and Annie Besant's English, 4th ed., are in the app for personal reading.
Besant's translation is public domain. The Wikisource transcription is CC BY-SA 4.0. Word splits, where the app includes them, are credited to the Digital Corpus of Sanskrit, Oliver Hellwig, CC BY 4.0.
The 700 verses, in Devanagari, IAST, and Besant's English, stay free. The app does not show ads.
Shloka Plus is optional and is hidden while subscriptions are off. If it is offered, the price on the paywall is the price Apple bills. The yearly plan is $24.99 a year after a 7-day free trial. The monthly plan is $3.99 a month with no trial. Lifetime, if shown, is one payment of $59.99 and is not a subscription.
Cancel a free trial before it ends and you pay nothing. You can cancel or change a subscription in your Apple ID account. Restoring purchases uses the same Apple ID.
The app is provided as it is. It does not replace a teacher. Commentary scans are not included.
